Caitlin Plante is a poet, storyteller, and survivor living in Arkansas. She writes about fairy/folktales and their ability to conceal and reveal abuse and violence. She is currently exploring this intersection in her novel titled Oyster Pond. At the University of Arkansas, she is an MFA candidate in fiction and a creative writing instructor. Her work has been honored as a finalist in the 2022 Sewanee Review Fiction Contest, a finalist in the 2023 Pinch Literary Award in Poetry, and the recipient of the James T. Whitehead Award for Fiction. She has attended the Tin House Workshop, Iowa Writers Summer Workshop, Paris Writers Workshop, and she is a graduate of Lighthouse Writer’s Book Project.
She is currently looking for representation for her novel Oyster Pond.
